A partnership between craftsmanship and design
With the KINGS OF FREEDOM edition, limited to 2009, VisibleWall and ROSENTHAL present the world’s first wall miniatures made from German porcelain on a scale of 1:25. The VisibleWall edition has become the artistic publisher and licensor for Rosenthal GmbH in Selb, Germany.
The miniatures
The artistic designs on the front are applied to the porcelain form using a screen-printing process with brilliant porcelain colours, in a two-stage firing process.
The production of each miniature at the Rosenthal factory involves around 100 steps, many of which are carried out by hand. As a result, each miniature is unique in terms of its shape and surface, with its own distinctive features.
