Collectable artistic pieces to scale 1:25

VisibleWall and ROSENTHAL present with this first edition, KINGS OF FREEDOM, the worldwide premier of Berlin Wall Miniatures, made on German porcelain shaped in a scale of 1:25.

To a precise ratio, the form of the Berlin Wall's original L-elements were shaped from fine porcelain:

Dimensions of the porcelain miniatures to a scale of 1:25
5.98 high x 1.93 across x 3.46 broad inches (15,2 x 4,9 x 8,8 cm)

The artist designs are done with historical porcelain colours, using silk-screen printing, burned two times for brilliant glaze. Roughly 100 hands touch each miniature during the workshop processing in the Rosenthal Manufactory. The result is that every miniatures is, in shape and surface, an original with unique features.

The miniatures weigh approximately 185 g and each does have an individual bottom imprint of the Manufactory.

I Am Very Busy At The Moment

is what the world famous head of Thierry Noir is telling us, and that is precisley the name the artist gave to his miniature design for VisibleWall.

Thierry Noir is one of the most popular Berlin Wall artists and can tell a lot of stories about how dangerous it was in the days of cold war to paint the western side of the communist wall: The East German Border Police comes through secret doorways in the Wall, in order to prevent the disrespectful artist from completing his works. Therefore he painted nocturnaly an also used in the dark easily visible, strong colours.

His 3,6 m portraits, painted in 1985, made sections of the Berlin Wall world famous on various city photographies, depicting the once diveded city center of Berlin.
